What can you gain

"Work, life purpose, creativity, relationships, spirituality, finances, sexuality, your environment and physical health.

A disbalance in any of these life areas can (unconsciously) create stress that over time will be detrimental to your health"

How coaching works

Coaching is a process that can help you achieve specific goals in your life. Are you unable to clarify your goals, or do you seem unable to get around the obstacles to reach them?  A coach won't tell you what to do, but instead helps you to arrive to the right answers yourself. A coach can offer you new perspectives and help you break through old thinking patterns. Not only will you benefit from this in your current situation, but it will also make it easier for you to find your own way in the future.

While it can be nice to talk about struggles with friends and family, not everyone feels they can do so completely open and honest. Out of fear of not portraying an ideal image for example. And critical questions are often easier to appreciate from a coach than from someone from your inner circle. These critical questions are not always easy too digest, but they are essential for the necessary self-reflection. Many of us get into a routine in life that becomes so common and familiar that we occasionally forget to check in with ourselves to see if this life still fits our current beliefs and ideals. Our society often expects us to choose one path and stay on that path (a lifelong partner, making a career instead of little jobs here and there), which causes us to lose the confidence that we are always able to reinvent ourselves. However, the reality is that our beliefs and ideals change throughout our lives. And so our lifestyles should change accordingly. Coaching can help you to clarify how your current way of life matches your ideals, and how you can possibly change your reality.

For many it is difficult to make these kinds of changes on your own, you may have little time to work on self development in addition to your daily routine. And while you may find yourself easily achieving goals at work, at home there are no direct consequences whether or not you're achieving the goals you set for yourself. In that case, coaching sessions can be a positive motivator to keep you focused on achieving your ideals.

Lastly; while it is always good to reflect on the past to understand how current conditions have come about, coaching focuses primarily on the present and the future.
While we cannot change our past, the future we can determine ourselves!

My personal coaching style

Each coach has a unique way of working. Make sure you choose a coach you feel comfortable with.

Where many coaches use analytical coaching strategies, I like to focus with the client on learning to listen to their intuition.

I believe our subconscious already has all the answers we seek, but we are often too overwhelmed by life to be able to listen to our inner voice. Think about it, when was the last time you were able to wake up naturally without alarm and when you had enough sleep, for a few days in a row? When could you simply eat because your body told you you're hungry instead of timing meals between work and your gym class. When was the last time you were able to wake up and think 'how do I feel like filling in my empty day today?' Our often schematic way of living shifts our focus from listening to what we need to a rational way of going though life.

Instead of making rational decisions about your goals in your life and how to achieve them, I'd like to teach you techniques to make these decisions intuitively again. Learn to get in touch with your own body and inner voice, so that you do not listen to expectations from people around you, or the false expectations you have set for yourself, but purely to who you really are deep down inside. My style of coaching combines my practical experience in the field of body-mind connection with scientific knowledge about this, as well as with traditional coaching techniques through communication. During the coaching sessions, I regularly teach breathing exercises, meditation techniques, or give advice in the field of exercise.

Together we will embark on a process where you will fully reconnect with yourself, since you better than anyone else, are able to know what is best for you.
